Applications

ASAFA #3 is a linear polydimethylsiloxane polymer designed for use where floating or silking is a problem. ASAFA #3 is a well-balanced combination of predominately volatile compounds which effectively balance out solvents during the air dry process. Systems include: alkyds, modified alkyds, acrylics, epoxies, vinyls and most oleo-resinous non-aqueous systems.

Recommended Use Levels

4 lbs. to 9 lbs. per 100 gal. (0.5% to 2.0% of total weight). Can be post-added or added during letdown.
