Applications

TA-816 is a reactive siloxane polymer blend designed to produce a rough or textured appearance to paints and coatings containing, but not limited to non-leafing aluminum. Systems include: lacquers, alkyd, epoxy, melamine phenolic, polyester and urethane.

Recommended Additions

0.5% to 1.5% of total volume. Should be added during or after letdown. For coarse appearance, start @ 0.5% (vol.); increase amount to achieve finer pattern appearance.
