Applications

AMA is dimethyl silicone designed to improve mar resistance and reduce surface tension in conventional solvent based coatings. Systems include: acrylic resins, alkyd, epoxy, lacquer, phenolic, polyester and urethane.

Recommended Additions

4 lbs. to 9 lbs. per 100 gal. (0.5% to 1.5% of total weight). May be added to grind or letdown.
