PCI Group, Inc. (formerly Paint Chemicals, Inc.) started business in 1946 with the development of an additive to eliminate pigment flooding and floating. That product, ASAFA (Anti-Silking Anti-Flooding Agent) is still being
used today.

In the years since then, we have continued to develop additives that have helped coatings producers all around the world eliminate a variety of inherent problems and improve the properties of their coatings.
